On February 14 (Valentines Day!) HOOF sent all party leaders lobbying letters, and copied in the respective Forest of Dean candidates as well as forestry ministers and spokespeople from the parties. We have received three replies to our letters, from David Cameron, Ed Miliband and Nigel Farage’s assistant. We share the correspondence with you below. HOOF is not passing judgement on whether our questions and concerns have been answered in the letters from party leaders – we’ll leave that up to you! We publish the answers (and the letters sent by HOOF – each one asks the same of each party leader) in the order in which we received the responses…
HOOF has yet to receive replies to letters sent to Natalie Bennett of the Green Party and Nick Clegg of the Liberal Democrats. If we will do, we will update this page. Click on the images to make them larger so you can read the letters.
